    Question 03 800 monster s ie

Have recently purchased a very tidy 800s monster in yellow with 23k kms goes very well but is fitted stock mufflers that are very quiet,im wondering what my best option is to get the old girl breathing better, gut stock cans or fit after market? Your thoughts please.

If you gut those std ones you will have a deep booming sound from them most likely as they are quite large?...
there is also a Ducati wrecker online in NZ that may have second hand pipes

Just enjoy the bike. You could spend more on cans than the bike is worth. Not kidding.

What Pritch said. Spend some of that money on some rider training and/or a track day instead. You'll derive far more benefit that way and not annoy non-bikers wherever you go.
