Will MV ride for Aprilia at Silverstone? That is the question. Where does this leave Savadori? Will Aprilia enter three riders when LS is fit?

No, they can barely service 2 riders adequately, 3 riders would cause a storm of wild hand gesticulations.

Looks like they're planning 3 bikes

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

    Petronas SRT Moto 2

I was wondering how they were going to deal with it:

    https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/98...o2-silverstone

Also suggests in there that Vierge will be riding the M1 at Aragon to get his chance.

Will be interesting to see who makes a better fist of it, Dixon or Vierge.

My money is on Dixon, but Aragon might be an easier circuit than Silverstone, but Dixon knows Silverstone better than his own scrote. (Does anyone know their own scrote???)

Does that mean that BinderD misses out on getting a go? Depends on FM's recovery I guess.

BinderB is paying DB's bills currently, can he do that to get DB into MotoGP?

So, still anyone's guess as to who rides their M1's next year and who is paying (main sponsor).

Viñales set for two-day Misano test with Aprilia
The Spaniard will get his first taste of the RS-GP from August 31st to September 1st at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli
Tags MotoGP, 2021, Maverick Viñales, Aprilia Racing Team Gresini
Maverick Viñales is set for a two-day test at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli between August 31st and September 1st on the Aprilia RS-GP, as the Spaniard will soon get the first taste of his new bike and team for 2022.

The test marks the start of Viñales’ integration into the new structure he will be a big part of in 2022, after he and Yamaha parted ways with immediate effect earlier this month.

Romano Albesiano, Aprilia Racing Technical Director: “From a technical point of view, it is always fascinating to listen to the impressions of a rider who is testing your bike for the first time. Especially with a champion like Maverick, who we are pleased to welcome into the Aprilia Racing family.

“After the great work carried out on the track by the racing department over the last two years, we are adding yet another piece to the path of growth that we are undertaking with encouraging results. Clearly the first approach involves a very practical adaptation phase, in terms of ergonomics and setup, which we know vary for each rider. But I'm sure that Maverick's talent and speed will come to the fore right away and I can't wait to start working together.”

MV's relationship with Aprilia may not be long lived. He has now left two teams prematurely.

He got totally pissed off with the Yamaha which is still capable of winning. If it isn't still capable of winning, nobody has told Quarteraro. How long will he last on what so far seems to be one of the least competitive bikes in the paddock? We may not have to wait long to find out.

I reckon MV will start off with a hiss and a roar - then normal service will resume.

It's up to Maverick now this is last chance. He is getting on a bike that hasn't won and he knows he has got to develop. So let's see if he can finally keep his temper under control.

Here is another snippet of news Rossi funding looking doubtful all talk and no cheque.
