Reports of Acosta having a new contract with ktm guaranteeing a motogp seat in 2024 starting to paint the picture of motogp riders having short careers going forward. So, what if all four current ktm riders are all performing well going to 2024? Who gets cut? It's a crazy sport.

EDIT: Apparently the contract says he will not be expected to ride MotoGP until at least 2024, but does not say he will be in MotoGP in 2024. So that is a bit better.

Brit journos, and an Israeli, were saying that some members of the press were peeved that MM did not turn up for the press conference. The riders are used to offs, but a 170mph dismount has the potential to ruin anyone's day.

Agreed Pol was riding that thing hard as.
Maybe the high speed crashes are affecting MM more now he has had a long injury layoff.
I bloody hope Pol proves them wrong. Hope the old school flowing nature of the track suits him.
Fabio might not be so inclined to chase him down given the championships standings and his practice injury.

Secondly his brother on the Aprilia seemed to be also pushing harder with the imminent arrival of MV.
He has been saying MV isn't going to wipe the floor with him and wants to prove it. Good stuff.

Fabio is also a little lucky so many good riders are novices at this track. Championship seems to be drifting his way.

Was great to see Martin front up immediately to the cut lap strikes me as a likable and talented character.

Interesting to see if Binder can do his Sunday heroics.

Soo am I watching the race at midnight or getting up early

And Fabio smashed 'em. That's a decent gap he's got now, especially after Bagnia And Mir went backwards. But my biggest smile of the night was for Aleix, that last lap battle with Jack was fantastic. To see him take the podium, how much it meant to him, to Aprilia, everyone was just absolutely brilliant.

Going to be an interesting line up in the coming weeks. Dovi on the Yamaha, maybe Maverick on an Aprilia.

So much of a reminder of "that" Rossi versus Stoner incident from a few years back, but Marquez can't even blame it on wet track.

Awesome to see Aleix finally crack one. He had to fight for it too. Happy days.

My pick was for Martin to be the one to fight Quatararo, unfortunately Marc did a Marc move and took him out. Not sure why he stood it up like that too...

Some great rides through out the field too with Binder, Iker etc. Its a shame that Iker is looking for a ride as he finally seems to have cracked it, too late sadly.

So pleased for Aliex and Aprilia Surprising how MV coming into the team lights a fire under a teammate
Our little Aussy battler gave it a good go.

Andrea to Petronas/Yamaha for this and next season. I think he might find the bar has lifted all the other old boys are falling well behind.
Can't wait to see Morbid back asap.

Reading a few articles
Pecco really bad race, in his interview he didn't know why and avoided the tyre question.
Rossi and Jake Dixon both blaming tyres for bad races.
Pecco's (if it was tyres) is a championship changing issue.

Michelin seems to be a bit of a lottery.
