Detroit was also hit fairly hard but but the guy I know there pointed out their system is set up to cope with such incidents,

The Governor and Lt Gov are fucking imbeciles, just a couple of weeks ago they were talking about withdrawing Texas from the United States. The senior senator from Texas is missing in action, nobody knows where he is. The junior senator from Texas flew to a Mexican resort with his family and was shamed into returning to Texas immediately. Not that he's any use.
