The Labour party bought up most of the western world's media? Amazing. Or unhinged.

I posted this previously but you seem to have missed it, let me remind you:

New Zealand has lower unemployment figures than Britain or the US.

Britain's national debt is running at over 100% of GDP.
The US national debt is over 110% of GDP.
New Zeaand's national debt is 28% of GDP.

    COVID deaths per million:
    US over 2,300
    UK over 2,100
    NZ 7 (rounded up)

Could the Capitol riots happen in NZ?

This will come as news to one of our resident IT experts who seems tp lack a basic understanding of social media. This is not the original item I saw with screenshots of Telegram posts, but it's an article by David Farrier who I normally don't admire but will give kudos for this.

No because we donÂ’t have the FBI in NZ. And why would anyone resort to that sort of action when Jacinda bends over for anyoneÂ’s cause and is great at faking empathy.
Just look at Ihumato, it was about to fizzle out into nothing, all she had to do was no comment.... neck minnit she opens her mouth and another govt handout fuelling the divide...

In fact the height of tension at moment seems to be internal amongst Maori protestors using a particular Maori haka and havingvtrump flags alongside rangitiratanga flags.

Btw your favourite fake conspiracy advocate Alex Jones did do a good session once about how to spot the FBI. If someone joins your protest group, starts talking violent stuff or seriously upping the anti etc then thatÂ’s the FBI.

Just look at last protest in Wellington, prob one of nz most peaceful ever. If your worried about violent protests you should really be looking at our youth. Raised in an era of a constant mass psychosis of fear they really believe we are killing the planet. To top it off you have the GOVT sponsored genless adds by energy commission PROMOTING protest action with slogan what side of history will you be on.

We are a proving ground for the elite so who knows what stunts they might try pull off on our turf

So, one chat group, with a whole 43 comments....

Further of interest is that for a group with a supposedly nearly 1,000 members, Do you remember any major civil unrest 3 days ago?

One is reminded of the mass 'Protest' that was 'organized' in the US and was heavily promoted by the likes of CNN (odd that they were giving favourable coverage to the Right Wing...) where it turned out that the only people that showed up... were undercover Feds...

    Just a thought.

As for the actual article, it's the standard loony-left-wing fare. Ironically, it could have been great if he'd actually mentioned what the root cause of the Kiwi love affair with the US is/was - which is the ideal of Freedom, but then to do that would require him to both understand the issue and to be charitable to the opposition.

No. You missed the point. Again. Most of the world's media regards the Labour Govt, Jacinda in particular, to have been a huge success in the way COVID was handled. They can't all have been bought. OK there are people so bitter and twisted that they'll never see it. That's their myopia, it has nothing to do with reality.

The NZ media over $50 million.... all those little vid clips on stuff or herald where you see made with funding from nz on air.... that money is ONLY for clips that meet certain govt defined criteria.
That’s why you see one puff piece after another about climate/race based inequality/digital currency/euthanasia/cycling/tinyhouses/workingfromhome/owningnothing.....

We have for the FIRST time in NZ history a prime minister with FIVE press secretaries and many of cabinet ministers also having more than one. We got to see recently what happens when a journalist asks questions not on the pre approved script.

I know, it's almost like most of them have a certain bias, in the same direction as Jacinda...

Half the nz on air funding money is for fiction. 7 million is music.
whats left over isnt even enought t0 buy a few more chinese MP for the national party.
What your issue is is you ar a troll and a national fanboi that ant understand why your party is so disliked it will soon be rated lower than act.
I note you never claimed media bias when National was in power yet NZ on air funding has existed since 1988
or when they under national they funded 80K to Michael fays (one of NZ richist national party voters)daughter.

“Tamati Kruger, the TUT chairman, says opening up Te Urewera to the public is “way down the list of priorities” for Tūhoe, as it brings no benefit to the iwi.”

“Conservation Minister Kiri Allan told a hui of various stakeholders in Tāneatua in November that money was not an issue, that it was available and DOC wanted the work done.

She would not be interviewed, but her office said in a statement that funding has been available for some time, and TUT has not accessed iT”

“Mervyn English, DOC’s governance and Treaty chief advisor, says it provides $2.2m a year as a “base amount”.

On top of that, DOC makes money available for various projects and activities.

“For example, DOC funded the purchase and the installation of new stoves in many huts.”

Sources have told Stuff that Tūhoe haven’t been letting DOC staff into the area to do maintenance work, preferring to have their young people upskilled to do it.

    Kruger confirms this.”

Meanwhile, Wayne Beattie, a Detective Sergeant with Gisborne police who took part in a Tūhoe-sanctioned search and rescue operation at Lake Waikaremoana in November, says he was shocked by the state of facilities.

The Whanganui Hut had been vandalised, with condoms and human waste left on the floor, gang slogans drawn on the furniture and slats from the bunks used as firewood.

Other huts were in a poor state, with guttering pulled down or collapsed and empty water tanks, Beattie says, while “thousands of dollars’ worth” of pest traps were unused and rotting on the ground.
