    tf185

    does anyone know how many ks i could get out of a full tank of a 1987 tf185

    The TF is an an older farm bike model on low gearing. It’s probably old and worn ( unless you have rebuilt it). It has small tank because it’s not designed to tour.

    It’s a two stroke so fuel efficiency is not the primary focus in the design.

    I reckon 150km.

    And if the oil feed pump isn't working (properly ??) ... 150 k's might be expecting a bit much. Keep an eye on how much it's using. Premix if you're not sure or in doubt.


    And if you're riding it off road ... the lower three gears are really low gears. If you stay in those three gears ... you won't get far.


    There are larger plastic tanks around that MIGHT fit.
