Anyone knows the 1992 Yamaha FZX Zeal 250cc with 4 cylinders?

    Kiaora Kotoa Katoa,

Does anyone familiar with that above bike, Someone is keen to have a swap with me on my good old 1987 Yamha XZ400. I am not too sure shall I go ahead with his offer. It's needed front tyre and brake pads, the FZX, to pass the wof by the sound.

Thumbs up Test ridden the Yamee FXZ250 Zeal.

Test ridden the old beast this late morning in East Auckland. It's only weighted 148kg. It's the first 4 cylinders bike I ever ridden here in Aotearoa, NZ. Man it went maddest. Only thing that it need a pair of front brake pads and tyre to pass the WOF. Owner is happy to hold the bike for me for 7 days. I am glad that I got an option to think of, rather than keeping the XZ400.

I think Satan would be a member on here. He'll be along to confirm soon I guess.

If not Satan himself ... probably a close relative ...

That engine should be indestructible. I had the FZR which revved 2k higher to 17.
I severely abused my one on fish and chip delivery work plus general hooliganism.
That big size single disc was awesome braking too...

Exclamation Nitros induction to the 250 cam

I came to know that you can throw in a nitrous gas into the combustion camshaft. Don't know to what extent will the power be boosted up to? Probably over 17k rev as you per mentioned ..

Any where to get a decent battery for the Yammi FZX Zeal

I'd finally successfully own the bike as of today. However, the bike jerk out a bit on the gear shift bet 3 and four. Was told because of the battery was weak and didnt generate enough voltages. It ran flat on the garage fuel up and tyre air pumping too. So shall I get a new battery and have a look in the spark plugs as the ex owner said he's totally cleaned the carb out.
