Most emotional and accurate WW2 footage since Saving Private Ryan.

    That was awesome.

Great move, the world is only one major solar flare away from books becoming a high value currency.

Matt Spears is at it again. Budget must have increased a little. Will be interesting to see how long the panigale stands up to the abuse.

Now this is top priority on the cool side projects I can’t afford at moment.

Stealth ev mx bike with IR headlamps and night vision googles on helmet. In our mad max anti vehicle future this could be great for finding “new” trails to ride

We all forget about boko harem pretty quick in the west as the media gave us the next thing to worry about. But it’s still not great over there.
Watching this makes you appreciate our security in west.

So the local hunters have no ani ale to hunt anymore as the shelling and bombs scared them away. So now they hunt terrorists instead. Ammo is in short supply so each hunter is allocated only 3 rounds.
Some still miss out so they make their own gunpowder from natural resources and use AA batteries as slugs. The process isn’t 100% so a chap holds a sample of powder on his bare hands and lights it to see if it works.

"Black Bird" on Apple TV. Convicted drug dealer/gunrunner accepts assignment to try and get evidence on a serial killer in exchange for commutation of 10 year sentence. (written like that it looks pretty bland but it was really good) Similar in vibe to the first season of "True Detective", with a bit of "Mindhunter" as well. Based on a true story. Has Robyn Malcolm in a small role

Just watched the latest episode of Itchy Boots. She's currently in Yemen, she had to fly there as motorcycles are not permitted to enter. Strict Islamic dress code applies, she has to wear the local attire. I know nowt of Yemen except that the Saudis have been bombing it for years with US help. More recently Trump wanted to flex his military muscle so he bombed it too.

Noraly is visiting the 'safe' part of Yemen but it does seem rather too many people are armed for a supposedly safe area. Her guide has an ornate traditional curved dagger, her driver has at least one pistol, and at lunch there was an AK leaning on the wall within easy reach.

IIRC she said the city she is in has been continuously occupied for 1700 years. If you are at all curious about Yemen Itchy Boots will give you a peek.
