Also I hope we are all watching MURDERBOT. From the best science fiction series I have read in literal years, engaging cast, great FX. Absolutely recommended

4 hour uninterrupted discussion with Gavin Newsom.

For the record - not a fan of his - but when Bernie Sanders was on JRE, I listened. I am currently listening to this now. I doubt it will move the needle much, but still.

Just watched "Guy Martin's Lost WW2 Bomber" on YouTube.

In Holland a fishing boat snagged a net. The snag turned out to be a Rolls Royce Merlin engine. The engine number identified a particular missing Lancaster bomber. Four bodies had washed up on the beach at the time but three remained missing. The programme follows the efforts of the Dutch government, with Guy in tow, to find identifying evidence of the remaining three crew members. The aim at a minimum was to find three of any one bone indicating they had remains of all three missing crew members for burial.

The Dutch government spent over a million (Euros?) recovering what they could. There was not much, it was eventually concluded that the Lancaster had been on fire and had hit the water upside down at flight speed.

The Dutch did a great job technically and with respect.

Popular YouTuber Shadetree Surgeon survives an active shooter incident in the storage complex he works out of. Pretty honest account of thoughts and emotions.
