    1992 Yamaha FZX Zeal

    Kiaora Kotoa Katoa,

Just a quick hint seeking. My 250 Zeal keep cutting out when I shifted the bike from higher to lower gear. Is there any hint why it's doing that? The carb has been thoroughly cleaned by the mechanic apprx 2 months ago.

    Kindly Yours,

    Greenhonnet

    Here we go again.

    Inline fuel filter?

Look in tank. Has it been sealed with some sort of coating?. Tank breathers fall foul of that.

So what is the full story. Has it ever ran properly since you swapped it for another shitter that didn't run properly?
Don't you look at my accountant.

Usually there will be a cable from the keylock to the clasp. It could have come out. Sidecover off which may otherwise be possible with seat on. Look from underneath.

Or push lever down if 2 piece seat and try operate clasp lever.

If you do enough Google image searches you should see what you are not seeing with seat in place.
