Race stands (paddock stands) - who makes and sells them

    Gidday all,

Looking for a new front and rear stand for the Yamaha. Hope you can help.

A few years ago i remember seeing ads in the NZ bike mags etc from a guy on Aucklands East Coast - living out on the back road between Clevedon and thames way who was making and selling both front and rear paddock stands (race stands).

I haven't seen his advertisements in the magazines as of late.
I have searched the KB post, but can't find any reference to this guy.

Does any one know of him, know whether he is still manufactoring stands for sale and if so; how I could contact him?

This the only one I could find on trade me:

Contact F1 Engineering in Hamilton, they have quite nice front and rear stands.
Also PM Frosty he has a nice folding version.

    Thanks for the tips Trumpy.
Will get hold of them and see what they have on offer.

Was interested in tracking down the guy who was advertising in the magazines, as for a picture to illustrate how the stands looked, he had his R1 sitting on it and it looked like a sweet set-up.

Will see if Frosty is selling them too.

    Cheers

    Paddock Stands

A set of Paddock stands (rear with either rubber pad or cotton reel mounts & front fits under fork legs) retails for aprox $200 the set at bike shops. Aprox $100 extra for a front stand that fits under the steering head.
Their source is Eurobike Wholesale in New Plymouth.
Pm me if you can't source & I'll sort something.
