Transmission Gully - Intelligent motorway. Don't speed!

Just read in the local rag how Transmission Gully will have a first in NZ, an Intelligent radar/camera system that can monitor the whole route . Holy crap it can detect if a car stops, people or animals are walking on the shoulder or large items discharged from a vehicle. Best not try and set a new speed record when it opens folks.

My James Bond revolving numberplate setup is gonna make a comeback. Though what I really want is the miniguns in the headlights.

I had that Matchbox. DB5 or summit.

Didn't make me want to buy a car when I got older though. Ejector seat looked uncomfortable for passengers.

Anywhere with the dot matrix info signs has same capability. Govt just needs to pay for cameras and software.

The coming My Driver App will replace highway cops and instantly fine you for all speed infringements anyway...

Just more reason to use the old - more interesting - road; which will have fewer cars on it.

    Time for deceptive no. Plates

I think the safety nazi's must be wetting themselves with a system that doesnt even need to stop the vehicle, i think a system of flipping rego plates is the only way around that , so as soon as you start riding a alternate plate is revealed, so all the little notifications go to Mr nobody, what the hell has happened to nz... we just keep on putting up with this sort of BS , daily there seems to be some new hinderence to normal life - as it used to be...

Some sort of electronic "plate" (Old iPad screen or similar) - displays the correct number up to speed limit, after that shows up random number letter combinations. Or something like that

This must be the real reason they can't get TG open; hit by the chip shortage, can't get enough scamming devices
