Me and Spyda will sandwich him, but avoid looking each other in the eye at the time.
We will make him sing
Mamma mia, here I go again
My, my, how can I resist you?
Mamma mia, does it show again
My, my, just how much I've missed you?
Yes, I've been brokenhearted
Blue since the day we parted
Why, why did I ever let you go?
Mamma mia, now I really know
My, my, I could never let you go
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
They were never certain of the actual and exact number of firearms in circulation at the time. Any figures give by those tasked with finding out ... could only estimate (read GUESS).
Even Registered Gun owners were (understandably) coy about what weapons were in their possession. Police did the annual (I think) visual check on what guns were held by owners (On a prearranged time and date) ... To update their records. The now outlawed weapons they previously had, and were registered as having ... were declared sold or destroyed. No proof of such was ever asked for. Police records were updated as such. Hence the basis for their figures ... is wrong.
If only 10% of registered Gun owners did this ...

You’d be a complete fool to intentionally deceive the police in any of the ways talked above. That would eventually surface and see you in the slammer.
Bloke at work reckons cops are dragging feet on new applications, takes over a year now to get licence.
They will come for the rest after the next event happens....

Nope ... And with the number of people that have said and done exactly as I stated in one (small) area ... There will be a lot more of the same nation wide.
Police did not, and still do not have the staff/time/resources/inclination to follow up any such "Missing" firearms. Most of the Police staff in position to begin any such investigations ... were counting down the day until their retirement. To say their enthusiasm for the job was waning ... would be an understatement.
The funny thing is ... they made the "New" Weapons record keeping "system" ... even harder work for Police to ... err ... Police.
Go figure.
In the past ... to get through the sheer weight of numbers of License applications ... shortcuts in the "system" were made. Perhaps ... they (The same staff as mentioned above) are doing it the full "As Per the BOOK" process now. And ... as above ... short staffed and under pressure (And being watched) from the PM down to not make any MORE fuck-ups in the license process ... THEY TAKE THEIR OWN SWEET TIME doing it.
Did you really expect/hoped for anything different to that ... ??

The problem will arise though when perhaps you are caught in a random traffic stop and hello here’s your “ missing” firearm in the boot. Or even better they catch a burglar in act at your house with your “ missing” weapons.
Down this way cops are having regular stop and search missions in popular hunting areas due to poaching being rife alongside with unauthorised shooting in production forests.
Just by typing this on a forum you will also be keyword datalogged and your IP address noted and you will be on a list... for possible action at future date....
It’s just like the fallout for the gangs over that Amon app, their slowly going around picking them off one by one....

Hmmm, had a few random stops but they have never wanted to check the boot. It'd seem the odds are pretty good.
Was stopped because of an escaped prisoner once and one of the cops said, "This guy will have a boot full of guns." That was a bit of a worry because I didn't recognise him but he was right. I was on my way to a match and had several firearms in the boot, all legal, but they didn't want to look.
Nah. They missed the Christchurch mosque shooter because they were too busy looking for Islamists. Now they are likely busy watching for RWNJs and ignoring everything else.

Again ... Nope.
1. Only the brain dead will drive around with weapons they are unlicensed to have ... and IN PLAIN VIEW. Those that do ... even with weapons they ARE licensed to have ... that is inviting attention from some that you'd be best to not invite attention from. And not always the Police in this regard either.
2. Only the brain dead will leave their weapons in such a way (even in their own house) that the average "Burglar" can steal.
3. If the Exotic forest blocks are near Native blocks ... they can be quite good shooting areas. But official permission is best gained first. Some of the forestry workers I know of "May" have weapons themselves while at work. And WILL shoot back if fired upon. Or just "accidentally" run over their 4WD's / utes if its obvious they don't have permission to be there. It has happened I can assure you. I worked in the forests around the Turangi area in the mid '80's.
4. Nope. Aside from the fact that I do not have (and never had) private weapons of my own. Nor a firearms license of my own. And some of those that did as I have posted ... are now dead. So ... it might be difficult to charge THEM. But ... as I have already posted ... the Police have enough issues with the one's ALIVE with weapons ... that they NEED to deal with first.
5. As for the Gangs ... See above (4).

The missed him, because they didn't follow their own rules and got complacent.
Also, if you'd read his Manifesto, you'd know he wasn't that Right-Wing, his end-goal was to instigate an attempt at mass weapon confiscation that would cause a civil war in the US and end up causing significant decrease in population to save the planet.
He has more in common with Extinction Rebellion than anything else....
