AND ... All the Lawyers in this country ... aren't willing to represent ANY of them in a court case of some/any kind. I wonder why that is ... ??
What "Duty of Care" do those protesting have ... to ANYBODY but themselves AND their families ... ???
Those that made decisions (For or against the jabs) ... made their own choice of their own free will. Those that got the jabs ... will have to live with it (Being vaccinated will give them a better chance). I hope the one's that didn't are feeling lucky. They might need some good luck.
A primary "duty of care" means ... that a business (Read Government here) has the primary responsibility for the health and safety of workers and others influenced by its work (read Population). All businesses/Government must ensure ... so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of its workers (Population) and any other workers who are influenced or directed by the business (Beneficiaries .. ??) .
The idiots that thought 90% of the population vaccinated meant ... "Herd Immunity" would be declared. Then ... they wouldn't NEED to get a jab. Well ... they were wrong ... it didn't happen.
The "Duty of care" was by the Government ... To the population. And they provided FREE vaccinations to those that wanted it. That seems to include you.
Even early on ... the ramifications were spelt out if some chose not to get vaccinated. Even those IN employment were warned. So nobody can say they were NOT warned. I bet you got your jabs pretty early on in the process.
I know of a few too. I've made decisions in my life that ... although they were in MY (And my family's) best interest ... I wasn't happy about. But NEVER regretted it in the long term. I've made more than a few "I WANT" decisions too ... most of those didn't work out though. But it didn't stop me trying.
Good luck with your "I WANT" choices ... I hope it works for you. And your family.
I got the jabs ... I'm happy enough with that science.
Afraid ... nope.
Those protesters that are unvaccinated ... have more to fear than I have.
