    Beehive occupation.

Not sure if these guys have a common mandate. Surprised the police have been so laid back now we're into day 4. Been watching the news.....

Why would I be expecting anything ? Interested in the proceedings in Wellington with an open mind.

What does a sting at the end of a tale mean btw ? Do you mean a tail ?

They'll be glad it's going to rain tonight....

If everybody ignored them and just got on with their own lives ... would those protesting consider that a WIN for themselves ... ??

Difficult to ignore my mate from Alexandra. Their vehicles are still blocking the streets and drisrupting the local business's big time If the Police haven't moved them then on soon I would appreciate the NZ Army to do the the job.

it's becoming a very toxic "Peaceful " Protest. Get rid of them. Watching the Trump flags on the news sealed it for me.

If there’s no willingness to compromise on the protestors’ side, it can only end in tears.

Which will no doubt get them plenty of ‘clicks’ or ‘likes’ or whatever it is they’re after.

That none of the MPs are prepared to engage so far, no matter their political persuasion, is telling I think.

Hi the buzz around the NZ govt building is they are sick of the constant drone so come tomorrow they will be smoking them out going over the area with a fine tooth comb.

Difficulty is ... There isn't an official Spokesman for these guys. Can't do it. There's a number of issues going on evidently.

Look at the crowd. No one is in charge. They are all as stupid as each other. Give them 6 hours warning .

Then bring the army in to move these guys out.

Which is probably what they want - to be seen as martyrs being rolled by the "government jackbooted storm troopers". Wait and see what the forecast rain will do for their determination.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

i went to the national library today to do some research, got a ten minute park one block from there, had a choice of two actually. Apart from the pub there there aren't any businesses in the immediate vicinity, however there are a few up the road that might be down. No different to 100's that are in tourist areas i suspect. First person i talked to was waiting for the next bullrush, seemed to a pleasant atmosphere as i wondered onto the grounds, the rain will sort em out.

As soon as they started threatening to "execute the politicians and media" then the gloves should have come off. Tow the cars, crush them. Sell the trucks. take the children away and give them to someone sensible, pepper spray and riot gear. beanbags, water cannons and a can-do attitude. Fuck these clowns. You've made your point, you've exercised your rights, now fuck off.

I think it all started when someone said "you know, mung beans are really cheap, perhaps we should eat them?" "Hey, if I take this old T-shirt, and some dye. . . . We could make our own clothes and all be induhviduals"
