Not real pleasure, just Policy! Agitators, Questioners, Alternate opinions, Smart arses, all those that do (or might eventually) upset the potato basket, must be silenced.

South China Morning Post on YouTube is currently live streaming Putin and the parade.

He’s looking healthy of not very solemn and in deep thought. So far a harpoon missle hasn’t interrupted proceedings. What’s interesting is how old most of the top brass there are

If your Russian and survived WW2 you might be almost indestructible and have learned to survive most things, e.g. (Cold War, Perestroika, Putin purges).
Of course, Cockroaches can do that too!

Honestly - that combination is absolutely terrifying for a Tanker.

No noise signature, No Thermal signature, highly mobile, able to deal with rough terrain.

Not entirely relevant but that electric bike reminded me.

In Afghanistan the American rules of engagement required a target to be armed. The Taliban woke up to this and field commanders, unarmed, would ride a bike to a place with a prominent view from which they would conduct operations using a cell phone. Eventually the troops managed to convince the generals that this was happening and the rules were amended. Snipers took out some Taliban leaders while the news filtered though.

It must feel good for the USA to, at last, be backing a successful and grateful army in a righteous battle!

    And at a bargain price!

    Cheers, Daryl.
