    Royal Enfield Bullet 500

    Morning All

I recently took the plunge and bought myself a Royal Enfield Bullet 500, as seen in the photo. I've been thinking about getting myself one for some time and I managed to find this one in Rangiora, which necessitated a nice drive down to collect it.

It forces you to take in the sights, sounds and smells of where you are and as such I love it. You certainly wouldn't want to ride on a group ride with your mates as it would hold them up but as two-wheeled therapy it's works very well indeed.

In some ways better to buy 2nd hand as all the assembly faults may have been fixed by now!😀
Somewhat tongue in cheek, but my daughter in law is working as a mechanic at a dealership for these and last week had a failure on the way to compliance. There is a spacer in between the sprocket carrier and the wheel that was just totally missed out and it all graunched to a stop just down the road from where it was uncrated. Was a 650.

Saw a Royal Enfield in the carpark of N/World this week.

Had to do a double take ! Its was brand new , a 250cc single with a giant "L" on the back.

    Looked quite well finished .
