you need to keep up, National was 2 governments ago and we all know that labour is selling off state houses as well

No but i have a grasp of logic...
NATIONALS PROMISE
National, in the 2014 financial year it sold 598 homes and built 398,In terms of housing, the Government is itself planning to build more than 2000 houses over the next two financial years but, more importantly, wants to work with local councils on the underlying problems of land supply, building and resource consents and provision of infrastructure.
https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/full-t...YEDMYAIO47I4Q/
in the 2015 financial year it sold 492 and built 724.
National spent over a decade claiming there was no housing crisis and now they fanbois want to blame the current govt for it.National's new housing spokesperson Jacqui Dean has falsely claimed her party built 30,000 state homes when they were last in power, and claimed her party now backs rental standards they voted against and recently promised to scrap.
In fact, the state housing stock fell by 2000 between 2009 and 2017. Statistics show in 2008, when National defeated Helen Clark's Labour, there were 65,324 state homes. In September 2017 when National lost power, there were only 63,209.
Figures from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development show National actually built 2670 homes in its nine years - only 9 percent of what Dean claimed - and sold 2728.
National’s new housing spokesperson has admitted the party was wrong to sell and convert more state houses than it built when it was last in office.
Willis said National sold or converted “a couple of thousand” state homes.
“I think what we can see from that is yes, the Government needs to build state houses,” she said.
Labours built 2813 state homes since June 2018 and a further 2596 under construction.they sold or demolished 140 homes
three years
So was there a housing crisis or not? sack up.

To which, you've already started complaining about with the use of sarcasm. Unless that is your desire. Just to complain a lot. You're not a brit by chance?
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
There is no defending Twyford. His figures were sheer idiocy. !00,000 houses in ten years. Nobody in the government divided that by 10 to see how many houses they needed to build in a year. Nor did they divide the 10,000 by 52 or they'd have known they needed to be completing near 200 houses per week. He should never be put in charge of anything.
Still, the current Minister of Police is making a strong effort to replace him as the biggest fuck up. Rather than defend her the PM should cut her loose. She's a liability.
