No, no. You have your theology mixed up. Easter isn't about baby Jesus being borne. That's Christmas although at an arbitrary time which just happened to be on a pagan solstice celebration. Easter instead is when we celebrate the killing of the adult Jesus.

There's a bit more about drinking his blood, but let's not confuse the matter.

Actually in interests of accuracy Easter is when he comes out of cave, they botched the killing. He walks out of that cave like Joan Ferguson on Wentworth crawling out of the forest. That’s when they invented ted the blip blip key finder as he coyldnt temember whete he parked the Holden.

It's just starting to be fun surely? Although we have swung wildly from how the police are being stripped of their powers to having a holiday in remembrance of one of the religious anecdotes!

Well 3/4 of the world don't celebrate Easter so it shows how ridiculous it all is.

The police minister may be on borrowed time and may be replaced before next election

    But..

The police are responsible for there own operations, the government is there to put pressure on the police if there not doing there job.

Neither the government nor police are doing there jobs effectively.

I still believe the police can lead the way, they don't, or they won't.

Unfortunately its the world we live in today, instead of some pepper spray to the face, they are taught to de escalate the situation by putting a gentle hand on the back and ask the offender "are you okay bro?" Let's hop in the car, because I care".

It's the end of western civilization..

"easter" from oestrus "noun, a recurring period of sexual receptivity and fertility in many female mammals; heat. "a mare in oestrus" - so celebrating sex and birth. Symbolism of rabbits - "fuck like rabbits", chocolate because it's a well known aphrodisiac.
Just part of the well known christian habit of tacking some religious crap onto a previously known pagan celebration (eg saturnalia = christmas) in this case taking a well known and probably strongly supported celebration of sex and associating it with (supposed) rebirth of jesus
