    postclassic beast

    yeah it's an xs1100 with tricked engine and
    17 inch radial setup, original xs wheels being
    skinny 130 crossply rear and 19 goddam inch skinny
    front on lovely skinny flexy forks lol. These old
    aircooled beasts weigh about three tons with about
    twenty five foot wheelbase and weak wimpy brakes, and you had to hang your ass off the side to get the thing around any sort of corner and great dramas unfolded if you happened to hit a bump mid-turn..
    This one with beefy forks, braced-up frame and more
    modern stuff all-round handles and rides waay better
    but the old tart is still a heavy fkn handful..
    Modern carbon/titanium/ computered space-rockets
    feel like wee pushbikes compared..
