Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
I do love being vindicated as to how utterly insane the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity crowd (DIE).Banned phrases include, "wait, what?", "no worries", "at the end of the day", "asking for a friend" and "you're on mute."

I am on a warning on a Police site for using the word "Pom".
I quite innocently commmented on a racer picking up his bike, I said, oh thats Sam Lowes, he's a Pom and does that quite often.....
It's now hate speech apparently !!!!!!!!! Thanks Ardern !!
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
This comes about because ministers/politicians in Australia are incapable of respecting their female peers, and this comes right from the top starting with their PM. So... "something must be done".
I'd laugh, except that's tax payers money, not "government money". They're literally being taught to be nice to each other and the tax payer is paying for it...

A completely new word I can agree can be offensive and I can come up with many that I would not write on here. And that is where I am with the P word.
Being English I have never used the word Pom and really don't understand those who use it to describe themselves. You can tell by the tone and the way it is used whether it is meant as a lighthearted term or actually has a bit of spite behind it. In the end I think fuck you to whoever uses it whichever way it was intended.
I have no idea why I feel this way, I just do.
So before you all start,
Ot seems there is z lot of urban mythology about the term..
We'll have to stick to Limey Barstards.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

I see the CEO of a chemical company is being called out on his comments accusing Nadia Lim of using her cleavage to promote My Food Bag share sales.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/ind...bout-nadia-lim
I suspect he's just allergic to bee stings.
Manopausal.
He referred to Lim as "Eurasian fluff" which caused some to wonder what sort of websites he has been viewing. The actual photo in question shpws no cleavage in the normally accepted use of that word.
We can assume he tried to impress as a smart arse but just managed to appear a prick. His company is no longer regarded as a suitable investmant vehicle by KiwiSaver.

Without a doubt his comments were derogatory and stupid to say the least, but it's (currently) just one KiwiSaver fund manager that has blacklisted his company, not KiwiSaver per se. Not sure what they are trying to get at suggesting he's been viewing certain websites (nah yeah I do) but the term 'fluff' used in a derogatory manner to describe women well predates the internet ha. Regardless any fallout he gets he deserves.
in a way... hahahahaha (dude, seriously, you think you're so correct you're happy to keep repeating it to reporters?)
... but it's totally OK, the company he works for has a diversity policy!
I also (as the article mentions) feel sorry for the lone female on his board... although I hardly imagine it's the first time she's experienced this kind of thing with him...
