    Familiar face on TV

On the TV news tonight a piece about Air NZ new sleeping berths for long-haul flights.
Designer was shown and named as Kerry Reeves - to me anyway a well known face.

A few years back now he was the works rider for the Bob Harris built and tuned Royal Enfields in Classic racing.
Aucklanders will remember his appearances at Classic register Pukekohe meetings I'm sure.

I'd hope the new berths are more comfortable than a Classic Enfield.

Some international sources carried that story. Considering that they are a couple of years away and there is no idea of cost it might have been a slow news day.

Kerry's pretty handy two-up on an adventure bike, as well.

i remember him from when i was a kid, he looked so innocuous with slender frame glasses etc but a demon on the bike.
He must be getting on i am not so young now.
I remember the Bob Harris singles were pretty successful, but i am not sure how reliable the big twin was or how big it was.
    Did they ever sort that?

Never saw them with a twin. And nothing's surfaced since Bob's death afaik. Only Enfield twin I've ever seen raced was back in 70-71 being raced by a group of students - of which Slofox on here was one.
