odd? they are behind the line of the rear of the tank past the pivot ?
ie further back than a Manx or 7R or 750ss
tanks not to my taste too much going on at the front too much forward rake on the tank as if its trying it mimic a dolphin fairing
i have only ever seen a few Eglis i like, the original hill climber. plus that one on Classic bike with the duke forks and Yamaha 4LS Aemacchi rear
I remember Greg saying the eglis had weird ergonomics though plus oddball geometry.
    You still have Vincent?

edit okay i see godets and the one i like are much further back. As was Kens...

To my mind, if that tailpiece of no.5 was used on more cafe racers the whole genre would be more appealing. The rounded boil most have just looks dumb like a parking bumper more than a fitting end of a dynamic vehicle.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Ok maybe I should have qualified that by writing "American cafe that looks right er than the usual wrapped pipe, no front guard, brown seat thing they usually call a cafe".

I still like the look of the orange PGR Egli I saw over Carterton a while back. Owner was a nice guy to talk to as well.

My opinion FWIW - I don't like the nose treatment at all. And why replace straight tube in a load bearing area with bent tube I'll never know. See the rear subframe for what I'm saying. Don't even like the name - Flash designates a single in Vin terminology.
The whole effect is unbalanced IMO.
