    RIP old girl.

Well the extreme left will be in a head spin over this. The head of colonial oppression (in their minds) dies and it gets worse for them because now a man will be in charge. Tommorow Trump will announce 2024.
Watch out for labour sneaking through all sorts of crap legislation while media distracted. They’ll be kicking them selves for not waiting another week over the kiwisaver gst bill

Fair enough. I’ve been a loyal subject since I swore an oath of allegiance at Cadets since age 13, finally free of that deal. Meant to say watch for the onslaught of memobilia as people cash in on trademe. Just like a dead artist it’s all more valuable now.

The end of an era. As Chris Harris said, the moral backbone of the UK. RIP.

Well done, thank you Ma'am. That Lady deserves a beer and a well-earned rest. My spell in the UK as a young-un was made all the more memorable by the Monarchy and it has enriched our history. Some sour pusses will be delighted but don't understand she was part of our living history and man did she devote her entire life to public service.

Please let's not turn this into a for and against the monarchy mudslinging thread. Now is not the time. For my part I am a big fan and my parents passed away not many years ago so today reminded me of how much their generation adored the Queen. Mum would have been so sad to have been here today.

My concern is the 96-gun salute tonight may seriously deplete our army's ammo stock and wipe out their 2022 budget for defending our nation.

The 96 gun salute is about to kick off. I wonder how many noise complaints they'll get.
