Silly Liz wore the exact same outfit at her maiden speech at the Number 10 podium as she wore giving her resignation speech there. Made amusing viewing watching both clips run one after the other. Like she hadn't lasted long enough to even change clothes.

As she was “”PM” she now gets an annuity/pension type entitlement of 115kGBP or about $227,000NZD.

Saw an interview with a Tory politician. He was saying that while there are a number of crises facing the nation, nobody in the governing party is devoting any time to those. They are all scheming to turn the leadership crisis to their own best advantage.

Another commenter suggested looking outside recent cabinet members, all of whom were selected only for loyalty to Johnson and to Brexit and most of whom were not noted for their intelligence. There are thought to be people on the back benches better suited to leadership positions. A reshuffling of recent cabinets will bring to mind the deck chairs on the Titanic.

As Trump and Boris have proven you do not need to be a smart man to be populist right wing leader you just need to stay stuff that apeals to the stupid people
