Yeah, apparently we should know this week.

Wow, that was an action packed doozeee
Bagnia's oppsie has sure opened up the championship.
It was nice to see the hondas up there and Mir actually finishing a race - the first one since the opening round MM crashing, remounting and still cracking the top 10 and only 2 seconds behind "pop" gun Mav. - Awesome.
I really like the track, it was nice to see corners with more than one line through it

    A great round me thinks.

And the masterclass display of talent from Marco. Like you say, a great round. And a fantastic result for 17yr old Zonta in Moto2, finishing the points for the first time.

I concur.. MM was almost on the podium there for a bit.. Poor old Martin was completely shagged but Bez was climbing the stadium.. bizarre

quite interesting to see the hondas and yamahas being almost competitive. Lack of data and proven experience/speed show where some real talent is??

MM was reported as saying that he believes the Indian track is super similar to the USA track and as a result the honda worked.

Nice to see #20 F Q riding the wheels off the thing. Got to be frustrating for him ?

Maybe it was the Buttered Chicken and Garlic Naan ????????

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Yeah, Fabio was absolutely riding the wheels of his bike, as was Mir - especially in the final laps.
In the sprint race I asked my wife, how many laps did she think Mir would stay on, and then 2 corners after I asked the question - he fell off!
REALLY glad to see he finished the main race. No questioning the size of his nads seeing his last few laps!

Mir's an odd one to read, in 2020 he stayed on board and won a championship with only 1 race win, never seeming to step over the limit. Since then though he's been a huge crasher, even on the Suzuki.

I think what we saw was with Fabio, MM and Mir is the talent rising to the top on a new track, especially once as technical as this one.

    Marquez explains.....

"Marquez and Repsol Honda team-mate Joan Mir had been competitive all weekend, why?

“This racetrack is very similar to Austin, a lot of stop and go, first gear corners. We saw in Austin what Rins did. It's not exactly the same here, but it's very similar and in those kinds of [slow] corners we are struggling less."

Mat Oxley is a pretty good storyteller, and this is a pretty good tale from years gone by ... https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/a...ires-to-buddh/
as for this weekend i expect it'll be pretty entertaining with the championship battle getting pretty intense now.
Jack won last year ... be good to see him on form for a change otherwise i can see him out the door later this year
