This year I've had difficulty logging in to the MotoGP site. When I tried to watch the race on TV I got a message "try again later." I have not been a happy camper.

Suddenly my log in problems seem to have disappeared, and I have watched two of the three races on the TV so far. Better late than never.

i have to say that the coverage on TVNZ has been better then i expected. The have been a couple of glitches one race had some minutes of football or something and another round the covergae would jump back to the start after 20 minutes or so.After advancing another couple of miutes was fine. I didnt expect tvnz to have all seesions and all classes but i guess that was down to spark sport

Was listening to Mat Oxley's podcast last night. He said that Martin's tyre pressure was below minimum for over half the race. Martin has received a warning that if it happens again he will be penalised by having three seconds added to his race time. Race Direction had to do something, but as Oxley says, it would be a shame if the championship was decided by a penalty like that.

Probably because he led the race from start to finish, apart from a lap near the end, managed tyre wear really well, and his tyres heated up less than expected. The teams are walking a real tightrope with this.

Stories out there about MotoGP bikes going down to 850cc - not sure from when - 2025 maybe?

    Haven't we been here before?

Full 1000 but make 'em 4 gears. That will limit power and favour spread.

There's a long interview with the Dorna director of technology on Motomatters, which I'll read when I have a spare hour or so!

I see Bautista is getting a guest ride in Motogp at the next Round....

Suppose it's a thankyou from Doocati for winning the WSB Title ?

It will be interesting to see how the tiny little fella handles it ?

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.

    Maybe he'll do a Bayliss?
That would be inconvenient to No.1 rider.

He's got Danny's efforts as a ring in and a benchmark.
Be interesting to see how the WSBK winner goes up against a test rider
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Aruba.it Racing Ducati Team Principal Stefano Cecconi wondered what mind-set Bautista will bring to his wildcard appearance.

I still smile when I recall an embarrassed Bautista arriving at parc ferme on foot having destroyed his 250 during his post race celebrations.

I have enjoyed watching Bautista in WSBK since he went back to Ducati. Hopefully BMW can give Toprak a half decent bike so that he can still compete next year.
