Starshield is likely to further tap the company’s biggest U.S. government customer – the Pentagon – which already represents a high-value buyer of SpaceX’s launches and has shown significant interest in the capabilities of Starlink.

Telsa sets new cars sales record in NZ
Telsa is now, yet again, not the largest selling car in NZ for a record 2023 times in a row.
Nor is it in the top 3 for NZ electric cars sales for 2023 either.
Top Selling Electric Cars, Jan 2023
    1 BYD Atto 3 (235)
    2 Kia Niro (136)
    3 MG ZS EV (166)

I'd hazard a guess that the size/number/population volume in the Australian cities should ensure good sales volume. Anybody wanting to do an "Outback cruise" in an EV would have to be a tad "Touched". A solar panel may help though.

Cross country excursions with solar powered vehicles has been done in the past.

The issue (I think) is more to do with local attitude ... rather than the local terrain.

John has an interesting way with words at times... sounds like Hyundai taking advantage of a Federal Government EV tax break.

I suspect you could be right.

Which is why the model 3 was third best selling vehicle in January (by quite a margin) behind the Ranger and Hilux.

There was a very careful selection of the word 'car' in the previous post from our Musk fanboi, even though it's really a SUV

A recall for Tesla is an update online like any other device that uses the net and WiFi

If you have ever started a business which I doubt you have, on average, business take 2 years to break even and become profitable, Twitter is a new business acquisition for Musk, I'd expect bills to be late like any new business.

I started my own business in 1997 that now operates in multiple countries.
Unlike you, I do not expect bills to be paid late - ever, especially the importance of the ones Musk has chosen not to pay.
