Apparently Musk wants to remove the "block" function from Twitter. This morning he has posted to the effect that it's fun to give people a dose of their own medicine by blocking people opposed to removal of the block option.

The Apple App Store has a requirement that social media apps must have a block feature. Is it possible that the genius doesn't realise that removing the block should result in X being removed from the App Store?

So this is what the lower priced cars are.

The same car, with the range limited not by the battery but by the programming, but you still get to cart the weight of the full range battery around.

    Seems like a winner....

What better incentive for some hacker/cracker to get into the Tesla code and flip a switch or two. (if it hasn't already been done)

Yep, teslas have already been hacked to enable premium features for free. After seeing musk in action with twitter, i would be nervous he would detect the hack and brick your car.

    things are clearly going well
Tesla has discontinued its communications department in 2020 and did not respond to a request sfor comment. CEO Elon Musk did a similar thing at X Corp., formerly Twitter, where media inquiries are now automatically responded to with a poop emoji.
Tesla is being sued for fraud after reports revealed the company has been knowingly inflating driving-range numbers at the behest of CEO Elon Musk. The class action suit comes seven months after Tesla was fined by South Korean regulators for the same issue.
    Korea
SEOUL, Jan 3 (Reuters) - South Korea's antitrust regulator said it would impose a 2.85 billion won ($2.2 million) fine on Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) for failing to tell its customers about the shorter driving range of its electric vehicles (EVs) in low temperatures.
The Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) said that Tesla had exaggerated the "driving ranges of its cars on a single charge, their fuel cost-effectiveness compared to gasoline vehicles as well as the performance of its Superchargers" on its official local website since August 2019 until recently.
The driving range of the U.S. EV manufacturer's cars plunge in cold weather by up to 50.5% versus how they are advertised online, the KFTC said in a statement on Tuesday.

Tesla could not be immediately reached for comment.
USA Tesla is facing a class-action lawsuit filed by customers who say they were misled by the company's exaggerated range claims. The lawsuitEditSign was filed yesterday, days after a report revealed that Tesla exaggerated its electric vehicles' range so much that many drivers thought their cars were broken.
"Tesla marketed its electric vehicles as having a grossly overvalued range in an effort to increase sales to consumers," said the lawsuit filed in US District Court for the Northern District of California.
The lawsuit seeks class-action status to represent all people in California who purchased a new Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model Y, or Model X vehicle. The three named plaintiffs are James Porter, Bryan Perez, and Dro Esraeili Estepanian. All three bought Tesla cars in 2022.

Perhaps the big T insignia should be replaced with a poop emoji.

Not to mention it would void your insurance. With the propensity for all EVs to catch fire in a way that greatly endangers other property I bet insurance companies won’t touch “modified” ev.

Btw has anyone hacked ktms rally mode and other add ons yet????
