Having the balls to do something different was HD doing the Pan America adv bike and making something semi successful on their first attempt.
Cyber truck is just a straight out engineering vanity project. Its lack of proper crumple zones make it a threat to its occupants and gives no regard to other road users. WeÂ’ve just experienced a phase shift in design encompassing last 50 years in making vehicles thinks that gold up to absorb impact energy. Along comes some rich guy with ADHD and crayons and throws all that away.
BTW seen that big glass slab roof, that things gonna suck in summer time.
As for toughness during the latest launch his lackey did two of the most limpwristed softball throws that I’ve ever seen against the “ thermonuclear” glass windows. The kids in my street throw real rocks at each other harder than that.
IÂ’d say yeah nah to a free thrash, if that battery goes into thermal runaway and those electric doors donÂ’t open your getting imolated.
Btw all EVs should only be quoted by their 80% range. With ownership being dominated by left eco-KarenÂ’s your expected to only charge to 80% at public charging stations to make room for someone else. ItÂ’s considered selfish to charge to 100% at public station in busy cities.
As Geoffbuyscars said, what happens when you get home from long journey or just havenÂ’t had time to properly charge all week. Your on 10% battery and your ten year old falls of trampoline breaks arm needs to go to hospital etc. Or elderly relative couple hours drive away takes IÂ’ll suddenly and you need to get there asap.

In the real world "military grade" usually just means made by the lowest tenderer.

After indulging in anti semitic comments under the cover of "free speech" for which he copped well deserved flak, Musk has now dived down the pizza gate rabbit hole.

This is the theory beloved of conspiracy theorists that there is a basement under a pizza place where children are abused and trafficked by 'the cabal.' Complete nonsense of course. There is no basement, but a guy armed with an AR15 or similar turned up to see for himself. He didn't see a basement but he may have seen the inside of a jail cell.

Anyhoo Musk has posted "proof" that pizza gate exists. He needs help.

I used that term after watching the videos, I was thinking the grade of stainless and glass being used in this vehicle would qualify for tough and durable over what the majority of manufacturers would use.
I think Tesla will sell heaps. Not so sure that their large truck will do the same at this point.
