Not Tesla but yet another money grubbing startup following the same principles. That be making a less efficient version of existing systems.... has good joke analogy at start.

Your right, this has nothing to do with Tesla

Nor is Tesla a start up company, Tesla has been around over a decade.

A mighty nine votes suggests that there should have been an option for all the people out there who really don't care about Musk, Twitter or Tesla or the sycophantic promotion for a car on a motorbike forum by an admitted shareholder.

I thought there were rules about advertising on KB?

But not necessarily the customers. Even though without customers there is no profit to appease the shareholders with.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Indeed - but there are Investment firms willing to pump Billions of dollars of investment into companies that align with certain political goals, even though those companies have never made a profit.

I still believe that the phrase 'Get Woke, Go Broke' is absolutely true, it's just that sometimes it takes a while.

I've communicated with a investment fund manager through Twitter, he's a big believer in Tesla,12%, of his position is in Tesla .

I asked him why he had such a large position in Harley Davidson in his investment fund?

He replied "Electric Bike market '

    That's all I know.

Don't shoot me the messenger, blame corporate greed.

Shareholders don't ride Harley's, they ride another wave.

I've kept rather quiet in this debate - cause I don't really have a buck either way - I think Tesla have done wonders for the Electric Car market, whilst still thinking that Electric cars (with current Battery/recharging technology) are inherently flawed.

Electric Bikes - if we are talking push-bikes - are something that I think have a time and place but are little more than a fad. The people that love cycling enough to regularly use a bike is relatively static and their main reason to do so is either an environmental focus or a fitness focus.

I don't think you are going to convince the average joe to swap their car for an E-Bike (as a primary means of transport) with enough volume to get a significant return on investment.

    The core problems being:

1: Weather (sucks cycling in the cold and wet, sucks cycling in the boiling hot)
2: Protection (no cage for Cyclists either)
3: Speed (In order to truly replace a car, it needs to be able to be capable of around 30 kph consistently)
4: Price (if it's much over $1-2K, then you are competing with a Moped)

I look at the E-Bike market in much the same way as I look at things like Impossible Meat - It's an ideological pipe dream that will eventually run out of other peoples money.

Lols, yeah what is HD doing? AFAIK there are no new bikes for sale in NZ and hasn't been for a while. There is one 2nd hand on TM. I know they got a good review, apart from the price, but they seem to have fallen by…

So tell me which part is not 100% true then? You got made to look a complete idiot over your bullshit lies over the last page.
Its a fact Tesla Inc shares started 2023 where they left off last year, plunging more than 13 percent on Tuesday.....
Its a fact Tesla's drop on Tuesday was its worst one-day performance since 2020.
Once worth more than $1 trillion, Tesla lost more than 65 percent in market value in a tumultuous 2022
Tesla’s market value has declined by about $400bn since Chief Executive Elon Musk secured financing to buy social media firm Twitter.
Yet, Tesla's decline is conspicuous even among once-frothy tech stocks. In 2022 the stock was the worst performer in the NYSE FANG+ Index—a gauge of 10 large technology companies that includes Amazon.com, Apple and Meta Platforms. That index is down about 40% over the past year, which is still much less than Tesla’s drop. In the past three months, Tesla fell 59%, compared with a 6.7% loss for the FANG+ and a 6.7% rise for the S&P 500.
Tesla’s market dominance in the US electric vehicle sector is gradually waning, according to new insights from S&P Global Mobility. While Tesla still dominates the sector, with a 65 per cent market share of new EV sales, that’s down from 79 per cent in 2020 and could drop below 20 per cent by 2025.
In the imaginary invisashares market they were up 1000's of percent in troll currency

I like the look of this (apart from the weird name) Sonys expertise in electronics plus Hondas superb automotive tech and build quality. If I was going to buy an EV it would be one of these

It's got no door handles. Elon will be fuming that he didn't think of that! Take the door handles off and bump up the price!
Bound to be some fuckwits that would fall for it!…
