So after a massive waste of money, needless deaths, and Musk's absurd posturing, DOGE is no more.

Cheers Pritch - My DOGE theory is: Remember at the start of DOGE they were all about rooting out waste and fraud and abuse of federal funds? and they were making noise about going after as much in the defense department - the same defense department that In 2022 alone, when an "audit" found about 61% of $3.5 trillion in assets unaccounted for. Once Trump/DOGE threatened to expose the fraud and dig deep - it all then went whisper quiet and gosh darn it, all they could do is find money to grab, sorry save, was in overseas aid and domestic social services like medicaid and so on. Simultaneously, they went on a firing bulk firing spree - mostly from Government Departments that just happened to be in charge of investigating musks regulatory indiscretions. Such a coincidence!
So no need for DOGE now they too have their noses firmly parked in the trough of "defense funds" along side the other crooks and have taken money from the poor and given it to their needy billionaire buddies. You have to hand it to trump, musk and cronies - they do the best con jobs by far, and all largely in plain sight!

When they disestablished USAID there were warehouses full of food and medicines. Rather than distributing the aid items they were incinerated. That was pure evil.

Yep pretty much everything DOGE did was disgusting, and yes, musk would have had his minions download every database they could possibly find, including all the social security details - what a heist, that alone was worth musk sucking up to trump. And now the whole department is gone, and in another uncanny coincidence it will likely be much harder to investigate what went down now the whole department has been disbanded.

Yep, and how I laughed when the pollies were going, musk should not have got that information, we must get him to give it back like it was something that there could only possibly be one off and not copied and stashed away from prying eyes
