Tesla asks shareholders to back $56bn pay for Elon Musk rejected by judge https://www.theguardian.com/technolo...musk-tesla-pay

Cummon shareholders, he has dropped down to only third richest man in the World. Word is a semi truck seen loaded up with raman noodles was backing up to Musk's kitchen wing. FFS

A few Cybertrucks (very few) made it to the market. Some owners are unhappy, a YouTube search will yield clips. One I saw yesterday, but can't find now, detailed how a guy had put his truck through the car wash and subsequently it was dead. The reboot system does nothing. I've since seen a comment that if you put a Cybertuck through a car wash the warranty is void. Strange considering it is supposed to be amphibious to an extent. What about heavy rain?

It'll be interesting to see if the shareholders revolt at Musk's massive payout. Meanwhile Musk is trying to drum up a big First Amendment freespech campaign. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees free speech. Many Americans think that gives them the right to say anything. It doesn't but Musk appears to be in that camp. The 1A guarantees the right, particularly of the press, to criticise the government. That's it. Apparently Musk hasn't read it.

Putting it through a car wash does not void its warranty (it has a 'car wash' mode built into it), they just won't honour any claims from damage done by an automated car wash. Automated washers are not recommended by most manufacturers and it's common for warranties to not cover damage caused by them.

Cybertruck recall. It turns out that they are even more exciting than customers expected.

The things you can do with soap... Boeing use dishwash liquid on the 737 Max emergency door plug seals to aid assembly, but hadn't documented it. This was picked up during an FAA audit recently.

Elon might find out other things you can do with soap soon… More recent grandiose announcements made that bumped the share price up by 7%
How long before he gets a Theranos style court appearance.
Or is he a protected CIA asset. Take a minute to think what Starlink is, a global communications network with eventual 100% coverage. No defence budget would get funding for that but via “private enterprise” it’s just about there.
Just imagine the value and power of having the exact location of every personal electronic device. In the world known at any moment.

Just came across this YouTube clip. Tavarish normally owns things like McLarens and Porsche not EVs. He has removed the battery and associated electronics from his flood damaged McLaren P1.

When EV owners talk about their baby they are usually totally biased, you tend to get religious fervour rather than facts. This is a factual account of one purchasers Tesla S.
It's 35 minutes long but it's not hard to watch.
