    Cleaning leather jacket after riding

    Cleaning dead insects and other detritus from your leather jacket after a ride .... what do you use?

    Bucket of warm soapy water and a cleaning cloth....

    Or you can go for a ride in the rain, that usually washes it off too

    I used to put my jacket on a hanger, zipped up, and spray it with a mild detergent solution and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the bug spooge to relax it's grip on the leather. Then give it a scrub with a soft brush and wipe dry.
    Manopausal.

    If they're dry and stuck hard, wet paper towels with detergented water, paper mβchι them on to your gear and let sit for 15 minutes

    Works great for fairings, forks, etc too.
