What i struggle with if everything has to be English on signs, can someone please explain why we have a Dutch name for the country

An Anglicized Dutch name, if it was Dutch it would be Nieuw Zeeland or the Latin Nova Zeelandia as it was called after the change from Staten Landt

What about it ?

I don't care whether they are in English or Maori, like everything else it will have little or no impact on my life

Personally I'd like to see more Maori used if for no other reason to wind up all the bigots that start frothing at the mouth at the mere mention of Aotearoa and have to make their stupid fucking comments on every news page about how they don't know where that is

I can find the library - but for a street adress, I'd recommend a trail of breadcrumbs or an aerosol of paint to find your way back out. As a town layout it's an epic fail.

all he needs to say now is only the Nats can sort the economy, as people have short memories and tend to believe that the nats dont borrow up huge to pay for tax cuts to the rich.
