    Northern Ireland roads racing cancelled

It's reported that all the roads meetings in NI are off due to unaffordable insurance costs.

I can't post a link but it's up on several sites. Atm it doesn't affect the IOM.

Given the spectator injuries at the Bluff hillclimb the other day, it does potentially pose a problem here too.

Edit - Looks like it's going to affect the races held in the Republic too.

Yup all to do with Brexit and insurance. Allianz has stopped providing motorsport insurance cover and no other company has been found that can do it for an affordable figure. However it does look like individual races may go ahead, but the championship has been abandoned. Looks like the organisers of the NW200 are not giving up, their insurance cosys went fro, GPB150k to 400k for 2023 and they are trying to secure funding .

Geez, makes me wish I didn't vote for Brexit. Assuming they counted my Internet vote from a colony but I assume that gave me voting rights.

You know , keep the yellow peril away, England for English men again.

    Sell England for a pound.

Wasn't it a drummer about the same height as you ?

You know it's Ireland when an MP named Paisley says there might be a way around the problem.....

Virtual beer to Mr Cox, although I think I was confused on actual track, right album though. Must get my record player going again.
