    That's a good basic intro to the concept of a venturi carb.

    Now just need to add in vacuum slides and diaphragms on CV carbs, those weird enrichment devices that weber liked to use (that really didn't work), and how to balance more than one carb on the same manifold....


    Also, find someone who has a car old enough to have a choke.....

    I'm a visual learner, and I found it very helpful - particulary the later shots of the fuel atomisation and the vapour in the inlet. Also the father son bonding thing was nice. Theres another Smarter Every Day where he has a trip on a nuclear submarine. Flushing the dunny in a submarine is quite the exercise and not the thing you would want to get wrong.....
