    Honestly JSG, did you EVER oil your chains? In my experience how hard you go has little or no effect on chain, unless maybe you're really brutal with gear changes or something...fark every 6500kms is just silly.

    Chains were oiled about every 500kms of commuting or after every big ride.

    I never planned to sell the ZZR so I used to replace partly worn parts, I wouldn't wait until the sprockets were completely jagged or smoothened...... I love my life too much.

    Fair enough...mine tend to last a lot longer than taht though...perhaps it's 'cos I oil every 200-300 though. I guess it depends on your lube though.

    The bikes looks a bit now - cos some genius decided to paint it........

    3 days sanding later I'm not finished, going back to complete it after work today.....and I haven't even finished the tank.
