    neddle jets

    Need to know the effects of the different needle jet shrouds have on tuning Mikuni carbs on a rotary valve engine thanks

    MikuniOZ.com has a downloadable book that can explain it better than me.

    Thanks but doesn't cover what I'm looking for. It's the top of the neddlejet that protrudes into the bore of the carb I need the info on.Was brief mention in the ese thread a few weeks ago but I can't find it

    With Flux brass can solder nicely. I wouldn't superglue unless you are planning a full annulus that would be retained by the needle in a failure.
    But both methods are reversible.

    First I would be inspecting the tube with magnifying glass, as any ovality will destroy fueling.

    Try using the search function on the ese thread. Try "needle jet shroud" as a search term - there's some of what you need there.

    Spelling is key to searching.

    thanks for the replies they where what I was looking for,and Gregg for the spelling lesson I can now use the search
