Sweet, thanks for that. I'm not too familiar with those areas around there, as I normally don't stop 'til I get to the 'mandel.

Hey Frosty, what time would you be expecting the ride to finish (say, time to get back to Papakura Autobahn area). I've got to pick up a mate to go check out a bike in the arvo, at about 3pm.

Was down 22 today, great day but the north end, from proberbly around the golf course to the 1st one way bridge, there is a lot of repairs being done to the road.
Quite a bit of gravel and saw one bike in the ditch after hitting particulary bad corner with pea gravel heading north in the same area.
Still fun though, just a heads up on the conditions
    .....is the answer

well heres the taing--I've been invited to visit ma and pa up at Mangawhai.
Im sorta thinking 10 am Shell westgate--(end of NW motorway)
Itll be the classic--old nth/peak/sh16/mangawhai rd to the cracked pipi in mangawhai.
From there I wanna go say gudday to my folks --which is down about 5k of hard packed dirt road in the middle of a big forest.
Then on past mangawhai to the heads and up round the really tight windey roads. From the end of there I'm thinking either double back or carry on back down SH1 then split back off to 16 again.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    I'm in for tomorrow
So we going north or south?
It's been a rough day. I got up this morning, put on a shirt and a button fell off.
As I ran out the door, I picked up my briefcase, and the handle came off.
Now I'm afraid to go to the bathroom.

Well I'll tag along with some other guys but will still be at the autobahn at 10am looking to leave 10:15ish. Ride south should be medium paced with me around.
