Cool Akl afternoon ride Mon 24th

    Hiya,

Custard and I are goin for a romp this arvo (a m/bike ride, not what you guys are thinking....) havnt decided where yet but is anyone out there interested on joining us? Any ideas on where you wanna go?

    1. "The famous on KB" - Waitakere Road through to Kumeu, then Old North, Peak, Kaiketea Flat Rd, Old SH1, Sunnyside Road, Riverhead-Coastville Highway, Wade Road then to Albany...(MAYBE A COLD ONE...)

    2. Maybe a blat around to Mareitai for a icecream then back around to Clendon.......

    3. Ride to South Head which partly includes no.1 (Would be a nice day for this one, with a stop at the Macnut macadamia nut farm)

    4. Ride to Manukau Heads - which includes goin through Glenbrook and Waiuku.

    Any ideas feel free!!

At this stage we are favouring a combination of no1 and no3 ..... departure 1pm to 2pm........ WHO'S INTERESTED?

PS This is my oppotunity to scrub in my new front tyre so there wont be break-neck speeds on corners!!

I'm bored stupid at the moment. Probably can't keep up with you guys on the corners but I could eat your dust for a few hours.
Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

I'm still up @ Hatfileds Beach (in the Jeep ) will be headin home shortly......... I think were pretty set on doin the Waitekere rd to kumeu then Old North rd to Helensville (a stretch of road that not many explore - where we turn off to Peak Road we keep goin and turn left....) then from Helensville to Parakai through to South Head (not much to see at the end of the road but lots of nice curves along the way ) then drop in on the way back @ MacNut farm - will find out if they are open for a cuppa then backthrough to Kaukapa down Kahietia Flat Rd to Albany etc..... I've got this mapped in my head ....will give a time of meeting when were back home and ruffly know what time....
