Acosta is clearly a talent though.

MM said his save(acosta) in turn one "was a good one" and he is a very talented rider. I might try 3 now .i am able to record of my older panasonic smart tv but i think its only for a relatively short lead time or a relatively short recording time, might just have to try to catch moto gp only

I'd just download it from that motorsports replays site on reddit.

Not good times to watch live last night, so I used the Reddit link. Not perfect, but good enough.

I see 3 now also has NASCAR, so hopefully they will sort out streaming soon as that probably will have a decent audience now that SVG has gone there.

Also 3 Kiwis in Indycar this year!

I set the alarm for 5am, watched the sprint then dozed off again. Not too bad! I have the benefit of being self employed so even if I have to watch them all live I'll engineer a slow Monday morning for myself.

Good racing! KTMs looking very good

Likewise ... although Jack's KTM likes to fall back down through the pack still.
up early tomorrow morning - there are some interesting scenarios looming, esp with Binder's obvious determination...

Likewise .. the coverage is good but not the GP commentary as its a feed from TNT in UK ?? I think.
Still sux that TV3 don't have it On Demand so you can watch at a more social time.
The only Redit downloads I found for Friday's practice were low resolution quality.
... But compared to spending the Dorma subscription.. I'll put up with some stuffing around.

Did you catch the bizarre off ... Fabio di Giannantonio suffered a strange accident on lap 3, falling off the side of his Ducati and was lucky not to be hit by following bikes

I knew 3's "coverage" would be bad, but never expected it it be as bad as this.

They jump in and pick up MotGP, with no idea what they're doing and make it unwatchable.

Should have known better after seeing their SailGP shitfest.

They should stick to rubbish broadcast tv and hopefully go broke.

    Sooner the better.

I watched the sprint this evening using one of the Reddit links. Worked well, except I could not cast it from my phone so thought I would try it on the laptop with the new 4k monitor. Being HD it didn't look great, but I was able to cast to the TV which looked fine. I see there is a Magnet link for a 4k download, so I might try that to watch the race.

All good so far, thanks for the Reddit link iYRe.

All good, you can download the 4k torrent from there.

Acosta needs to learn about tires, once he has that down he will be unstoppable.

I watched both races live, the coverage was as normal and the BT commentary isn't bad, but not having Crafar ruins it a bit. They still talk wayyy too much regardless.

Good races so far, Brad is looking dangerous. I'd love to know how Peco would do without access to everyone elses data

I prefer the more measured TNT (new name this season) commentary, but do miss Simon Crafar.

The stream I chose on Reddit worked perfectly for both races. I will try a 4k download though as it will be interesting to see how MotoGP looks. Watching sport in 4k while in the UK a few months ago was great.

It was a pretty boring race apart from Acosta overtaking almost at will until his tyres went off. Watching Marc riding smoothly just doesn't seem right, but finishing both races with no crashes over the 3 days must be a novelty for him. Also, Lusail is definitely not one of his favourite tracks.

Near the end I thought MM was going to catch JM but the whole race JM just put metres on him exiting turn 16 .MM said that he was losing on the corner exits. I guess he relearning how to ride a bike that has got rear grip.
As acosta was overtaking at will the commenttrs were going ga ga .Simon bought up the idea that he was burning up his tyres .They calmed down a bit after that.
