Announcements on broadcasting rights have been at the last minute before. I hope Sky get it, otherwise I'm not sure whether I'll subscribe. But M Marquez on a competitive bike should be worth watching.

Thanks, I'll have a look. I have found websites that stream the races, but it can be a bit hit and miss.

    I messaged TVNZ+

    Here's the response:

    "Kia ora Jamie,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

According to our Programming team, the negotiation to secure MotoGP 2024 is still in the market, so please check our Sport schedule at a later date or follow us on Facebook for regular updates.

    Best regards,
    Bruce"

Thanks for the update. They still have WRC, so hopefully will also retain MotoGP.

There was an interesting article in the Herald about how good free to air is for Cricket NZ. No sport is going to survive for long if no one watches it.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Copied off a thread. Looks like even if you already signed up for this year's video pass , people are Having to pay extra for live timing of the test and no live coverage.
That is a bloody rip that's for sure

And for those of us who've had videopass for years and get no live test coverage from Sepang, we've had to pay another $35.99AU just to follow live timing!! No live track action - not happy!

There is a lot of unhappy people out there about the cost and now this.
