Guess I'll just wait for the Oxley Bom podcast and whoever else reports on the test.

I saw that, crash had a bit of a discussion on it, but the general consensus seemed to be that there was nothing to see here, it was all about testing and serious fast laps werent done by most of them

I can see why people are pissed off with the Sepang coverage. If you want anything in depth, then the only option is the incredibly boring After the Flag.

Wow good score for all of Aprilia! (if they share data like Ducati)

Fresh from his foray into the Formula 1 Paddock, Trackhouse welcomes Davide Brivio back to the MotoGP™ World Championship as its team leader, bringing him straight into its rookie season campaign from the get-go.

Some interesting results, BUT it didn't rain for 3 days, so the track was very rubbered up by Day 3, and it is Sepang. Plus some teams were doing serious testing as opposed to setting fast times.

    Acosta is quick...

MM was 7th fastest average 10 laps - di Giannantonio fastest - this they say is more accurately reflecting how they will go on race day. Acosta was 9th behind Binder

Average lap time during long runs – Day 3

di Giannantonio (Ducati) 1m 58.237s (over 10 laps)*
    Martin (Ducati) 1m 58.390s (over 10 laps)
    Bastianini (Ducati) 1m 58.437s (over 10 laps)
    Bagnaia (Ducati) 1m 58.457s (over 10 laps)
    A. Espargaro (Aprilia) 1m 58.499s (over 9 laps)
    Vinales (Aprilia) 1m 58.545s (over 9 laps)*
    M. Marquez (Ducati) 1m 58.556s (over 10 laps)*

    * Set late in the afternoon, cooler temps.

Fabio Di Giannantonio: “If the race was tomorrow, I could be not so bad…” | MotoGP | Crash

One of the Duc bosses said MM is just getting used to the bike, he's still not really pushing - not really pushing and .3 sec off fastest pace for 10 laps.

Simon could be right I respect his intuition.
Especially if he notes Marquez losing time in the last corner, the electronics will tell them where he really is in the other sectors.

    Good read

MM was P4 today.. crashed for the first time.

Saw this on Auckland Motorcycle Clubs FB:
    ### An evening with Simon Crafar ###Ex motorcycle racer, MotoGP Pitlane Reporter, Motovudu creator/instructor
    Monday 26 Feb, 2024, at 7:00pm
At the Northern Sports Car Club / AMCC clubrooms.
Mt Richmond Domain, 1110 Great South Road, Otahuhu, Auckland.
    The bar will be open.
Here for MotoFest, Simon has kindly offered to come and talk about his distinguished career, and engage in some informal Q&A.
Don't miss this unique opportunity ...
Entry is free - however a donation would be appreciated.
Simon and his wife have started an Association / Charity called "Riders For Dogs".
This is a non-profit, thru which Simon looks to do something for a local dog support charity in as many countries as possible.
So 100% of your donation will go to a local NZ dog support charity.
    See you there ....
