These are what I've always gone too when a mirror isn't far enough out that I can't see through my upper arms.

I'll second Caseye as the extenders are perfect if you don't want to be looking at your arms. I even used them on my KLR650.

I can see that this would sort a lot of people. They keep their original mirrors and get a wider field of view with a small rise in height.
