    Thumbs up MotoGP (October 2002)

Saw the racing at Phillip Island ... great racing !!!

The Honda seems to have gained a bit of an edge on the competition, Yamaha in particular who were improving. Mind you they do have the best riders on the payroll.

Next year should be interesting with the Ducati coming on board and Colin Edwards riding for Aprillia.

    Cool

Yep, went to Phillip Island to see and HEAR the MotoGP machinery.

Wasn`t dissapointed either. Specially with the sounds they made. Whereas the two strokes sound fairly similar the 4ts had their own characteristics.

The Honda`s was a surprisingly subdued growl whereas the Yams shrieked.

    great stuff.

Planning on `04 for the MotoGP. But that could change, depending on other things.

It`s funny that although by far the closest and thus most exciting series on TV is the SBKs but the MotoGP is, for me, the one to attend???

    Wot do others think???

This series is far more interesting than SBK now ... plus they have the best riders ... but I will try to go to phillip island SBK and maybe the GP too ... 2003 that is.

Edwards and Nori Haga on Aprilias. Is there anyone left in WSB?

I hope the Aprilias are up to the riders. They didnt do much this year.

Wont Troy Corser be back in WSB on the Foggy next year? Wonder how it'll go?

I cant see Aprillia making up enough ground to threaten next year ...

same goes with the the Foggy Petronas project ....

Bet ya I can tell what happened...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
