    A good weekend at Sonoma for SVG. Second in the Xfinity series race behind his team mate. Winner from pole in the cup race.

    He sure is going awesome! He is doing better and better in the ovals too. I never had any idea just how hard those ovals are. Listening to SVG talk about those and also seeing an interview with an ex F1 driver saying that he found ovals to be the hardest form of racing to learn he had ever experienced gave me a new found respect for them.

    He is an incredibly talented driver. I remember watching him in the NZ rally a few years ago. Heavy rain had made the Northland roads very slippery, and a few of the international drivers crashed. Didn't bother SVG at all.

    Just watched an interview with NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin. The drivers are allowed to look at each others data and after looking at SVG's data Hamlin commented that if he was going that fast he'd be out of control. He has thought about that and other than that SVG must have smoother inputs he can't understand how SVG is doing it.
