    Resetting service indicator

    Following on from my other thread about getting a newer bike (Street Triple) I now have a servicing issue. The bike is coming up for a 40,000km service which TSS advise "could be" up to $1800, depending on parts prices. In an earlier life I qualified as a diesel mechanic at GGH and even though the Triumphs bits are microscopic compared to Cat diesels, principles remain the same. Long story short. I'll do the service according to the Triumph schedule myself, but how do I reset the "spanner" indicator on the display?
    it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
    those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

    Have me thinking now, my 22 is showing the spanner early before 20k because I've not been able to ride it. I had remembered seeing an option in the menu to "Reset Maintenance indicater" or something like that. Haven't tried it yet.

    I have a 2017 Triumph Tiger and I bought a bluetooth device that plugs into the harness. I pair that with an android app TuneECU and reset the spanner in the app. It lets you check error codes, add custom fuel maps etc.

    I have TuneEcu, but the older PC version with cable. Downloaded a lot of map experiments on my 675 with aftermarket pipe. 22 keep std pipe as it fuels so well.

    Old version doesn't work with Euro 4, 5 models. Android versions are sketchy for fuel maps and for which versions they work with so research carefully before buying.

    But try menu first. I think they added option on newer bikes.

    Went through the options (and there are a lot of them) in the menus - can't see a reset option there. I suppose I could pay TSS to do it (the resetting) This bike has an Arrow muffler on and I am absolutely not interested in trying to make it go any better than it already does

    I only did several dozen dozen custom maps as I put a low pipe on my 675 which had lots of advantages, but screwed up the fueling as it had std high pipe tune on it.

    I borrowed a a/f meter and spent a ton of time on the dyno I had access to to get the fueling bang on for most settings.

    Then i played around for an age more and got it good for most everything but steady throttle at revs I didn't use unless commuting.

    Std the 765 was great everywhere.
    Might have an Arrow tune in it or close enough to std tune.
