Cormac Buchanan is going from strength to strength in Moto3.

19th in free practice on the Friday.
    Qualified 8th on Saturday!
Battled his way into the top three during the race, before sliding back to ninth by the end, an amazing effort!
My guess is he is not on a super competitive bike, and overrode it for as long as he could before sliding back to ninth.
surely he is gaining attention from the top teams by now????

Absolutely, I was on the edge of my seat as the final laps started to countdown - Stay upright MM!. I really hope MM takes the title, but has a fight on his hands at most races next year, though I suspect it will be more of the same possibly until the 27 season when they all get new bikes once the 850's start up.

Marc said he saw the slide/skid marks that weren't there the lap before and backed off thru turn 1

he also said there was a noticeable tail wind and the rubber had gone. Not sure that the rubber was still on the track in other places . Was a long freight train in the middle there before all the crashes. Marini looked good, Aldegeur fast at the end

    Even Marc gets the chatter..

I saw the rear chatter on a slow mo it was bad during the race broadcast. I was surprised
Not as bad as thatclip of Millers KTM last year but noticable.
Just goes to show the skill going in.

    Talk about slippery
Last trackday at hampton had an endurance race on the saturday, it was then pissing down on our sunday trackday.
With the rubber down from Sat and the rain there where guys falling off every where.
We were second group up and a few fell in our group as well one direclty on front of me.
Lucky I have a 2nd bike Stock FZR (even with the Exup still in) as my wet bike, 30ish less HP than no1 bike and full wets but it was tricky.
No one else got a run. They had to call the day off in the end and gave me a credit for this saturday coming.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

I dont blame Hampton had the weather been fine it prob would have been grippy as.
Track was ok where it was wet only but on the endurance race line where all the rubber was laid, it was slick as because of the rain on topof the rubber.
Normal wet grip then 2 steps over slick as. Most of the guys there with Racetec RR treaded slicks not full wets and down they went.
About 4 each session one guy I think knocked up a bit.
I wont ride without my tech7 airbag as my tech 5 saved me heaps, now I use it for the road now its on its last blow up.
Rain got worse by lunch they called it about then with no let up in the weather.

I got the feelning They didn't want to thats for sure
The thing that shits me is they are now charging and extra $50 bucks to get a second bike through scrutinering that is run by voleenteers.
Tony Quinn sticking the boot in whenever possible its a bloody rip off

I just found that young Cormacs 9th place was only a few seconds behind first - He was with the lead bunch the whole time!

    Heard on the Rumour mill:

"Gigi knew the gp25 was likely not going to be as good as the 24 - however he knew MM would be able to ride around the issues after his gp23 escapades - therefore he was chosen over Martin"

Imagine.. if MM was on the 24 he'd likely be faster, and also, he was not going flat out in Germany...

Next week: Martin won't be competitive straight away on his return. But he will be very aware that in a couple of races he better be beating Bez , or his perceived value to any team will diminish.
Especially important as 2027 will be odd and riders that are versatile for change will be valuable. Specialists will suffer.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
