On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

I knew Pedro Acosta was pretty upset as it happened just before a race weekend, and they were good friends. But I hadn't heard all of the details then.

Roll on race weekend... i'm keen to see if martin get on terms with the aprillia - so long he doesn't wreck himself. the ktm's usually do ok at Austria so pedro might liven up proceedings too. 3 days to go...

MM said he doesnt want any more rider aids because they make the rider skill less important. Bez said he didnt really want them either but after a period and the settings are maxed out then rider skill will reign again.
Not sure about Alex being second but apart from the two hiccups he has been the second fastest. I wonder if the big discs will help Pecco. Be watching the KTMs to see if #23 can be up there again, and if Mav is fit .
I just watch Marc, Bez and Pedro in their pre race interview. Three kids asked questions, one asked what they name their bikes, MM and Pedro dont (pedro because he says if you name it, it means you like one more than the other and that makes it hard to swap). MM asked the young lady what her name was, Madeleine she says, well he says, that is what I will call my bike this weekend.
Something quite simple, but the smile on her face just showed he won a new fan. The others didnt think of that. I dont know about you, but that warms the heart a bit.

Back to the pit. Cold shoulder from the gf. "Whats wrong babe?"
"You've never named a bike after me!"
"But Babe, she's only ten"
"That makes it worse! You're sleeping on the. . well we don't have a couch, so you're sleeping in the pits tonight "
"Oh. So. . . . Next to Madiline??"

Binocular vision is complex. Like two spotlights on a WWII bomber to estimate altitude you then can build complex models.
Some people are better at this. It's not something that you can possibly relate to unless you have an insight.

I tried to watch FP1 on Three Now, settled in with a glass of wine and the heater on. But the TNT commentators... Talking about everything except what was happening on the track. The picture quality wasn't great either. Second time I've tried, that's it.

100% agree. I did not go through three now, but I too sure noticed the commentators were going on about everything other than what was actually happening in front of them at the time. WTF? It is like they think everyone watches Motogp to listen to them droning on and on about nothing, almost as if TNT stands for Total Nonsense TV.
Marc took top spot in practice - again. Looks like he is on schedule to finally win a race at this track.
KTM are looking better with Pedro in 2nd, I wonder how much the new ECU feature is helping KTM out?
Bez also continuing on from where he left off pre mid season break with a gutsy 5th fastest time on a track where Aprillia tends to struggle.
Maverick is beack on the bike after 1 month ago sustaining a 4 months to fix injury. He withdrew from practice, I just wonder why he is bothering at all - did he not see what happened to Marc when he came back too early? Does not make any sense.
what a brutal last few minutes of practise. Ogura started things of with about 10 minutes to go,ans was the first ino the 28s.However he wound up 12th. Things were turned on there heads and #1,#72,#23,#49,#10,#20, were all displaced froom the top 10 in the last few minutes.
Riddle me this tho, despite being the fastest overall Marcs top speeds are only mid pack![]()
